Partial Mitigation

Track successive touches without counting the same area twice. A qualifying partial FVG can close inside the BB and trim its opposite edge; later qualifying FVG crossings can upgrade it to 2x. Mitigation from both sides adds up against the original zone height. Enable percentage labels to see the total beside the timeframe. The untouched remainder survives within your configured tolerance.

HT PRO / SETTINGS GUIDE

Know your Settings

BB / HOB Formation

Choose how Breaker Blocks (BBs), Hidden Order Blocks (HOBs) and Order Blocks (OBs) form and how much price overlap they can tolerate.

History depth (candles)

Sets how many past candles HT Pro scans and displays zones for. Increasing it can include older setups but adds processing load. The maximum is 10,000 candles.

Range: 100 to 10,000

Default: 10,000 candlesLink to this setting
BB formation window (candles)

Sets how many candles a Breaker Block setup has to form. The same window also limits how long an existing Breaker Block can gain additional qualifying Fair Value Gaps.

Range: 3 to 1,000

Default: 500 candlesLink to this setting
Partial Mitigation (%)

Sets the shared allowance for partial price overlap during formation and after a zone is confirmed. Higher values let partially touched zones survive longer. For the initial move away from an Order Block, only wick overlap uses this allowance; its candle body is treated as the move away. At 0%, no such wick overlap or later partial mitigation is allowed.

Range: 0 to 99; step 0.1

Allow partially mitigated OBs

Lets Order Blocks survive partial touches using your Partial Mitigation percentage, with a minimum allowance of 4%. When this is off, the allowance is fixed at 4%. Touches from both sides share that allowance, and surviving zones show their remaining boundaries.

Body size filter

Switches all three minimum Order Block body-size checks on or off. When enabled, candles smaller than the applicable minimum are filtered out.

Minimum OB body size (%)

Sets the main minimum candle-body size as a percentage of the Order Block candle price. The lower- and middle-timeframe settings below can override it. A value of 0 disables this minimum. Requires Body size filter.

Range: 0 to 100; step 0.001

Default: 0.08%Link to this setting
Min OB size MTF

Overrides the main minimum body size for timeframes from 4 hours through 23 hours. Set it to 0 to use Minimum OB body size instead. Requires Body size filter.

Range: 0 to 100; step 0.001

Default: 0.04%Link to this setting
Min OB size LTF

Overrides the main minimum body size for timeframes from 1 minute through 3 hours. Set it to 0 to use Minimum OB body size instead. Requires Body size filter.

Range: 0 to 100; step 0.001

Default: 0.02%Link to this setting
Use ICT OBs

Requires a qualifying impulse move away from the Order Block before the setup can form a Breaker Block.

Allow 2-candle impulse

Allows ICT Order Block confirmation after two impulse candles instead of three. Applies to the Use ICT OBs formation filter and to displayed ICT Order Blocks.

Only show Multi-FVG BBs/HOBs

Excludes Breaker Blocks and Hidden Order Blocks with only one qualifying Fair Value Gap from drawings and alerts. Zones with at least two remain eligible. Displayed ICT Order Blocks are unaffected.

Equities optimization

Adapts detection for stocks and other markets with gaps between sessions. Qualifying moves that gap beyond an Order Block, including complete gaps across an existing Order Block, can form a Breaker Block. Gap-created zones start with one qualifying gap; a session gap does not upgrade an existing zone to a Multi-FVG zone.

Multi-Timeframe

Choose which zones and timeframes to scan, then decide when nearby zones should form a cluster.

MTF display mode

Choose BBs/HOBs to display Breaker Block zones, ICT OBs to display active ICT impulse Order Blocks, or Both to display both kinds of zone.

Choices: BBs/HOBs, ICT OBs, Both

Default: BBs/HOBsLink to this setting
TF selection mode

Auto chooses nearby timeframes from the full supported list. Auto from Selected chooses nearby timeframes only from the boxes you have checked. Selected Only uses your checked timeframes up to the external-timeframe limit. In Selected Only, include your chart timeframe explicitly or through its All group if you want it scanned.

Choices: Auto, Auto from Selected, Selected Only

Auto search: lower TF count

Sets how many neighboring timeframes below your chart timeframe to include in either Auto mode. The overall limit is 40 external timeframes.

Range: 0 to 20

Auto search: higher TF count

Sets how many neighboring timeframes above your chart timeframe to include in either Auto mode. The overall limit is 40 external timeframes; higher-timeframe selections are reduced first if an automatic selection would exceed the limit.

Range: 0 to 20

Merge nearby BBs into Cluster (%)

Lets nearby zones join a cluster when the gap between them is within this percentage of the established cluster height. A cluster can gain one nearby join, including an edge touch; zones with a positive price overlap can still merge freely. Set to 0 to merge only zones with a positive overlap.

Range: 0 to 50; step 0.5

Only show OBs overlapping with BBs

In Both display mode, hides ICT Order Block zones unless the final single zone or Order Block cluster overlaps a Breaker Block or Hidden Order Block zone or cluster.

Timeframes

Choose individual timeframes or groups. Auto ignores these checkboxes; Auto from Selected uses them as its pool; Selected Only scans the selected pool. The shared limit is 40 external timeframes. A selected chart timeframe does not use an external slot.

Over 40 TFs: keep HTF

Applies only when Selected Only would scan more than 40 external timeframes. Off keeps the lowest selected timeframes and skips the highest; On keeps the highest and skips the lowest. The cap is shared across all groups. The chart timeframe uses no external slot.

All Odd TF

Selects every listed timeframe in this group. Leave it off to select individual checkboxes instead. Available choices: 35m, 89m, 96m, 144m, 216m, 233m, 288m, 432m. These selections are used by Auto from Selected and Selected Only, not by Auto.

Default: All uncheckedLink to this setting
All HTF (46; limit 40)

Selects all 46 higher-timeframe choices in the day, week and month bundles. Individual bundle controls are inactive while this is on. The shared limit is still 40 external timeframes, so use Over 40 TFs: keep HTF to choose which excess selections are skipped. A selected chart timeframe does not count toward the external limit.

Default: All uncheckedLink to this setting

OB Pivot Filter

Use nearby candles to check whether an Order Block sits at a local turning point.

Strict OB Pivot filter

Checks whether the Order Block candle forms a local swing high or swing low compared with nearby candles. Enable this to use the pivot controls below. With it off, the left- and right-candle pivot checks are ignored.

Only strict pivot OBs

For qualifying setups, takes the direction only from strict pivots: a swing low is bullish and a swing high is bearish. The other formation rules still have to pass. Requires Strict OB Pivot filter.

Pivot candles to the left

Sets how many earlier candles the Order Block must stand above for a swing high, or below for a swing low. Higher values make qualifying pivots more selective. Requires Strict OB Pivot filter.

Range: 0 to 20

Pivot candles to the right

Sets how many later candles must confirm the Order Block as a turning point. Higher values require more candles to close, so confirmation takes longer. Some setups may be tracked before the full right-side check finishes. Requires Strict OB Pivot filter.

Range: 0 to 20

Require same-direction candle

Requires the candle before the Order Block to have the same direction as the Order Block candle. Requires Strict OB Pivot filter.

Use wicks for pivot detection

Compares full candle highs and lows rather than candle bodies when checking a pivot. Neighboring wicks can make the required swing more selective. Requires Strict OB Pivot filter.

OB candle color filter

Strict directional requires the Order Block candle to match the expected swing-candle direction. Flexible with neighbor check allows more variation when the surrounding candles confirm the structure.

Choices: Strict directional, Flexible with neighbor check

Default: Flexible with neighbor checkLink to this setting

Optimization

Keep the chart readable and control how zones are displayed while price updates.

Show cluster BBs separately

Shows individual Breaker Block fills within one shared cluster outline instead of a single merged fill. Nearby labels are combined into readable rows, with up to five distinct entries and a count for additional zones. Timeframe strength controls the fills and outline. Allow some right margin on your chart so the labels stay readable.

Hide live mitigated BBs/HOBs

Previews how incoming price updates affect existing zones while a candle is still forming. Zones that fail the live check are hidden; surviving zones preview their remaining boundaries. The confirmed state is unchanged, so this preview can change before the candle closes. Live refresh uses more processing.

Show levels near price

Limits displayed zones to a range above price, below price, or on both sides. Off shows zones without this distance filter. This changes the display only.

Choices: Off, Higher, Lower, Both

Range from price (%)

Sets the size of the display range as a percentage of the current price. Applies when Show levels near price is Higher, Lower or Both.

Range: 0 or higher; step 0.25

Extras

Adjust the placement and size of zone labels.

Timeframe label size

Changes the size of timeframe labels on chart-timeframe and multi-timeframe zones.

Choices: Small, Normal, Large

Default: SmallLink to this setting
Single TF text offset

Moves the timeframe text to the right of a standalone zone start. Higher values place it farther to the right. Applies to Breaker Block, Hidden Order Block and ICT Order Block labels.

Range: 0 to 100

Cluster text offset

Moves merged cluster text farther to the right of the zone start. Also positions the combined label rows when individual cluster members are shown.

Range: 0 to 100

Show partial mitigation % on labels

Adds the tracked mitigation percentage to a zone label when the Order Block, Breaker Block or Hidden Order Block is marked as partially mitigated.

Appearance

Choose the zone colors, text colors and label weight.

Bullish BB Color

Sets the fill color and transparency of bullish Breaker Block zones.

Default: Lime, 30% transparencyLink to this setting
Bearish BB Color

Sets the fill color and transparency of bearish Breaker Block zones.

Default: Red, 30% transparencyLink to this setting
OB Color

Sets the fill color and transparency of displayed Order Block zones.

Default: Dark gray, 30% transparencyLink to this setting
BB Text Color

Sets the text color of Breaker Block and Hidden Order Block labels, including cluster label rows.

Default: WhiteLink to this setting
OB Text Color

Sets the text color of Order Block labels.

Default: Light grayLink to this setting
Bold text labels

Makes the zone text labels bold. Turn it off for regular-weight text.

Auto-Fib

Find Fibonacci levels that overlap Breaker Blocks using swings from your chart candles. These are the current detection controls; confirmation and quality checks handled automatically are not separate settings.

Enable Auto-Fib

Enables Auto-Fib searches using swings from your current chart candles. It checks selected Fib levels against the chosen Breaker Block zones, including zones from other timeframes. Available matches are added to zone labels. The latest unfinished swing may be previewed, but a preview does not count as confirmed alert evidence.

Reversal strength

Choose a strength from 1 to 5 for the pullback needed to confirm the start and end of a Fib swing. Higher values can require a deeper closing pullback; lower values can accept a shallower one. Default 2 keeps the standard behavior. Other confirmation checks still apply, so some swings may be unchanged between levels. Requires Auto-Fib.

Choices: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5

Minimum retracement (% of swing)

Sets the minimum later pullback as a percentage of the whole Fib swing. At 0%, no extra pullback is required. For a move from 100 to 120, a 25% retracement requires price to reach 115. The check uses wick prices from closed chart candles within the search window, before the next eligible swing endpoint. Unfinished previews are handled separately. Requires Auto-Fib.

Range: 0 to 100; step 1

Require strict BOS

Requires a candle within a confirmed Fib swing to close beyond a qualifying structure level from before the swing began. A bullish swing must close above the earlier high; a bearish swing must close below the earlier low. The structure level must also lie beyond the Breaker Block by more than half its height. Wick-only breaks or missing qualifying levels do not pass. Unfinished previews remain provisional. Requires Auto-Fib.

Auto-Fib Levels & Scale

Select the retracement levels to check and how their prices are calculated. Enable Auto-Fib first.

0.5

Includes the 0.5 retracement level when checking for a Fib match inside a Breaker Block zone. Requires Auto-Fib.

GP (0.618-0.65)

Checks the Golden Pocket from 0.618 to 0.65 as one band. It qualifies when that band overlaps or touches the Breaker Block zone; the two boundaries do not both have to sit inside the zone. Requires Auto-Fib.

0.705

Includes the 0.705 retracement level when checking for a Fib match inside a Breaker Block zone. Requires Auto-Fib.

0.786

Includes the 0.786 retracement level when checking for a Fib match inside a Breaker Block zone. Requires Auto-Fib.

0.886

Includes the 0.886 retracement level when checking for a Fib match inside a Breaker Block zone. Requires Auto-Fib.

Fib price scale

Linear uses standard arithmetic price spacing. Log only uses logarithmic spacing. Both checks both calculations and accepts a match from either. Individual levels must land inside the zone; the Golden Pocket band must overlap it. No extra matching tolerance is added. This setting is independent of whether the chart itself is in linear or log scale. Requires Auto-Fib.

Choices: Linear, Both, Log only

Auto-Fib Drawings

Display matching Fib swings and levels from your chart timeframe. Drawings are optional and do not control whether an alert can include a confirmed Fib match.

Draw Fibs

Draws matching Fib swings and their matching levels from chart candles. Golden Pockets are shaded; labels show the ratios, and each level has a fixed color. Confirmed matches and provisional matches from the latest unfinished swing use the same drawing style. Requires Auto-Fib.

Show Fib swing line

Shows a faint dashed line connecting the two swing endpoints. Applies when Auto-Fib and Draw Fibs are enabled.

Maximum Fib zone length (chart bars)

Limits how far Fib level and Golden Pocket drawings extend from the end of a swing, measured in chart bars. This changes their display length, not which swings qualify as matches. Requires Auto-Fib and Draw Fibs.

Range: 10 to 10,000

Default: 30 chart barsLink to this setting

Alerts

Choose which zone events to report. Enable Pro alerts, then create a TradingView alert for HT Pro using Any alert() function call. Recreate the TradingView alert after changing the settings you want it to use.

Enable Pro alerts

Enables the Pro alert system. After choosing the events below, create a TradingView alert for HT Pro and select Any alert() function call. Changing the indicator settings does not update an already-created TradingView alert; recreate it to use the new settings.

AutoFib alert mode

Off leaves Fib confluence out of the alert filter. Include confluence adds confirmed Fib information when available without requiring it. Require Fib waits for a qualifying confirmed match before the first signal. A cluster qualifies if any member does. Searches use chart candles for each selected Breaker Block timeframe, including higher-timeframe targets. Requires Pro alerts, Auto-Fib and at least one selected Fib level. With no levels selected, Fib filtering is inactive.

Choices: Off, Include confluence, Require Fib

Default: Include confluenceLink to this setting
Send FIB UPDATE alerts

After a first signal has been sent, sends an update when a new qualifying combination of source timeframe, Fib level, direction relationship or price scale appears for the active zone. Each combination is reported once. Works independently of Fib text and drawings. Requires an active AutoFib alert mode.

Keep CHANGED alerts after Fib confluence is lost

In Require Fib mode, keeps sending CHANGED messages for a zone whose first alert has already been delivered, even if its Fib match is later lost or unavailable. The message reports its current Fib status. This does not relax qualification for initial signals, cluster events, near-price alerts or touches.

Alert direction

Choose Both for all directions, Long for bullish setups only, or Short for bearish setups only. Requires Pro alerts.

Choices: Both, Long, Short

Alert types

All includes individual Breaker Block and Hidden Order Block changes as well as cluster changes. Clusters only excludes individual-zone messages and watches cluster events, including enabled cluster near-price and touch alerts. Requires Pro alerts.

Choices: All, Clusters only

New confirmed delay (bars)

Delays a new confirmed individual-zone alert by the chosen number of candles on that zone's own timeframe. At 0, the alert is sent when the zone is confirmed. Applies to individual zones in All alert-types mode, not to Clusters only.

Range: 0 to 10

Alert grouping

Combined groups events into fewer messages. Separate sections splits messages by section. Every event sends one message per event. Large bursts may be queued and delivered on later live price updates. Requires Pro alerts.

Choices: Combined, Separate sections, Every event

Default: CombinedLink to this setting
Min cluster size (0 = Off)

Requires eligible zones to belong to a cluster with at least the selected number of members. Set to 0 to disable this filter. Uses the current cluster merge-distance setting. Requires Pro alerts.

Choices: 0, 2, 3, 4, 5

Near-price distance (%)

Sets how close price must come to a zone before one near-price alert is sent. At 0, near-price alerts are off. Watches individual zones and clusters in All mode, or clusters alone in Clusters only mode. Zones already near price do not alert immediately, and price already inside a zone does not trigger a near-price message.

Range: 0 to 5; step 0.1

Also alert at half distance

After the main near-price alert, allows another alert when price reaches half the selected distance. For example, a 1% distance can be followed by a 0.5% alert. Requires a nonzero Near-price distance.

Alert on touch

Sends one alert when price first touches an eligible individual zone or cluster. A newly watched or changed zone does not reuse an earlier touch from the current candle. Clusters only mode watches cluster touches alone. Requires Pro alerts.

Mitigation changes (BB)

Reports changes to the partial mitigation of an eligible Breaker Block or Hidden Order Block. Requires Pro alerts.

FVG count changes (BB)

Reports changes in the qualifying Fair Value Gap count of an eligible Breaker Block or Hidden Order Block. Requires Pro alerts.

Direction conversions (BB / cluster)

Reports qualifying direction conversions for individual zones or clusters. Requires Pro alerts.

Cluster member changes

Reports when the members of an eligible cluster change. Requires Pro alerts.

Cluster updates (bounds / labels)

Reports changes to an eligible cluster's boundaries or labels. Requires Pro alerts.

Cluster dissolution

Reports when an eligible cluster breaks apart. Requires Pro alerts.

Alert on BB/HOB removal

Reports when an individual Breaker Block or Hidden Order Block is removed. Available in All alert-types mode; it is inactive in Clusters only. Requires Pro alerts.

OB Alert Confluence

Add overlapping ICT Order Block information to Pro alerts. These options add context; they do not create separate Order Block alerts.

Add OB confluence

Adds matching ICT Order Block overlap information to Breaker Block, Hidden Order Block and cluster alerts. Order Blocks do not generate standalone alerts through this option. Requires Pro alerts.

Allow 2-candle ICT impulse

Lets the ICT Order Blocks used for alert confluence qualify after two impulse candles instead of three. Requires Pro alerts and Add OB confluence.

Only use OB clusters

Adds Order Block confluence only when the overlapping ICT Order Block belongs to a qualifying Order Block cluster. Standalone Order Blocks are ignored. Uses the existing overlap and nearby-merge rules. Requires Pro alerts and Add OB confluence.

01 / THE ZONE ENGINE

Find structure,
follow its evolution

HiddenTrades Pro is a multi-timeframe zone engine for TradingView. It identifies Breaker Blocks (BB) and Hidden Order Blocks (HOB), checks them against automatically anchored Fibonacci retracements, combines overlapping areas into clusters and communicates changes through one consolidated alert setup.

From order block to confirmed zone

Detection starts with a potential order block: a candle whose body is later crossed in the opposing direction. It becomes a BB/HOB only when displacement and a qualifying chain of Fair Value Gaps confirm the break. The displacement candle begins the sequence but is not counted as an FVG.

The label’s multiplier reflects the number of qualifying gaps. A single-gap zone may read “15m”; additional gaps produce “2x 15m”, “3x 15m” and higher counts. Scanning continues after confirmation, so an existing zone can gain a higher strength count later.

Mitigation that preserves untouched price areas

One Partial Mitigation percentage governs tolerance throughout formation and the live zone’s lifecycle. Its default is 5%, covering displacement wicks, FVG and crossing candles that open inside the order block, overlap before confirmation and mitigation after confirmation.

When price trades into a zone, the affected edge is trimmed while the untouched remainder survives. Either side can be trimmed. A “p” identifies partial mitigation, with an optional tracked percentage such as “p (12%)”. Setting the input to zero applies strict behaviour: no wick overlap during formation and no zone survival after mitigation.

The engine scans the chart timeframe alongside up to 40 external intervals. Supported selections span 1 minute to 3 hours, 4 to 23 hours, and daily through 12-month intervals in bundles. Unconventional intervals include 35, 89, 96, 144, 216, 233, 288 and 432 minutes. If your selection exceeds the cap, the highest timeframes are dropped first.

Three ways to select your timeframes

  • Auto selects a neighbourhood of lower and higher intervals around the chart timeframe.
  • Auto from Selected builds that neighbourhood using only the intervals you have enabled.
  • Selected Only follows your checked selections exactly.

Clusters instead of overlapping clutter

Positive price overlap always merges zones. Nearby zones can also join when they fall within the “Merge nearby BBs into Cluster (%)” allowance, measured against the established cluster’s height. Only one near merge is permitted per lineage; real price overlap is not subject to that restriction. A cluster appears as a single box with one label listing its member timeframes.

An optional ICT order block layer adds active impulse order blocks alongside BB/HOB zones or displays them on their own. Choose a two- or three-candle impulse requirement, and optionally restrict the layer to order blocks overlapping a breaker zone or cluster.

03 / FILTERS & PRECISION

Focus on the
structure you trade

Body-size filters provide separate minimums for lower timeframes from 1 minute to 3 hours, middle timeframes from 4 to 23 hours and everything above. The strict order block pivot filter lets you set left and right pivot candles, compare bodies or wicks, require an optional preceding same-direction candle, and choose strict directional colours or a flexible neighbour check.

Using only strict pivot order blocks changes side ownership: swing lows own bullish structures and swing highs own bearish ones. The Multi-FVG-only option removes single-FVG zones from both the display and alert output.

A displacement candle can open within or beyond the order block if it closes outside on the expected side and respects the wick tolerance. A full gap across an order block can establish a zone at 1x, but cannot upgrade an existing zone to Multi-FVG status.

04 / AUTO FIBONACCI

Let structure
set the anchors

For each breaker zone, AutoFib studies nearby swings, selects anchors that explain the structure and measures whether the swing’s Golden Pocket overlaps the zone. This is structural confluence, not a prediction that price will react.

Anchor selection and swing requirements

You may require a swing to break structure (BOS) before it qualifies, and require the BOS level to sit beyond the zone. If no candidate meets the rules, an optional fallback accepts the best non-BOS swing. End anchors can be restricted to structural higher-high and lower-low pivots.

Multi-leg anchoring extends a measurement through later pivots to a configurable depth, optionally requiring an intermediate retracement of a minimum percentage of the complete swing. Near-equal highs or lows beside an anchor can generate double-top or double-bottom alternatives. Their tolerance uses the average candle range at the anchor multiplied by a configurable factor. Minimum swing size can be expressed as an ATR multiple, a percentage move or left unrestricted.

Golden Pocket, scale and result ranking

The Golden Pocket is the tested level. Optional dotted confluence lines show 0.5, 0.705, 0.786 and 0.886, with linear, logarithmic or both price scales available. Multi-FVG zones normally generate one Fibonacci set per FVG pierce from the first gap onward, each with its own reference candle.

Strict results that satisfy all rules rank above BOS-fallback results, which rank above provisional ones. Same-polarity and opposite-polarity hits are tracked separately. A HIT means that a qualifying swing’s Golden Pocket lands on the zone within tolerance; it does not imply that the zone will hold.

Boxes, swing lines and status labels can be hidden independently without disabling numeric calculations. By default, AutoFib calculates only on the last bar and refreshes on realtime bar close to keep computational demand predictable. Historical bars therefore do not each retain their own separate Fibonacci evaluation.

05 / CONNECTED ALERTS

One setup,
every development

Enable alerts in the indicator, choose the events you want and create one TradingView alert with “Any alert() function call”. All further controls live in the indicator settings. Each event line reports the side, the count and timeframe, then the price range.

EXAMPLE ALERTLong | 2x 15m p (12%) | 24150.5–24188.0

Event categories cover NEW BB/HOB, DELAYED NEW BB/HOB, BB/HOB CHANGED, BB/HOB REMOVED, CLUSTER CHANGE, NEAR and TOUCH. Choose Both, Long or Short direction, and include all events or cluster events only. Newly confirmed zones can be delayed by zero to ten source-timeframe candles.

Control the detail and message volume

Combined grouping minimises messages, Separate sections splits updates by category and Every event sends individual updates. Payloads are split without losing content below the 40,000-character limit, then delivered first-in, first-out at up to 14 calls per 180 seconds. Remaining events wait for later realtime ticks. Minimum cluster size can restrict notifications to zones in clusters of at least two, three, four or five members.

A near-price alert fires once when price crosses from outside the chosen percentage distance into a zone’s or cluster’s proximity area. A second notification at half the distance is optional. A newly discovered zone already near price does not immediately trigger, and price already inside a zone does not generate a near event. First-touch alerts can be enabled separately.

Individual switches cover mitigation, FVG count changes, direction conversions, cluster membership, cluster boundaries and labels, dissolution and zone removal. ICT order block confluence can be appended as “| OBs: ...” or “| OB cluster: ...”. Those order blocks never trigger standalone alerts.

06 / YOUR WORKSPACE

Make the chart
work your way

Display controls

Boxes and labels cover the chart timeframe and selected external intervals within TradingView’s ceiling of 500 boxes and 500 labels. Adjust label size, bold text, colours and separate offsets for individual zones and clusters. Up to three nearby labels can merge to reduce clutter, while recently removed zones may remain visible in grey for a chosen number of bars.

“Hide live mitigated BBs/HOBs” previews mitigation on the forming candle, including FVG exemptions and deferred split touches, and hides zones that fail that preview. It may change before the candle closes, but never changes confirmed state.

Start with a standard candlestick chart

  1. Add HiddenTrades Pro to your chart.
  2. Begin with Auto timeframe selection, or use Selected Only to choose the intervals you trade.
  3. Treat Multi-FVG zones and clusters as areas to evaluate your own entry criteria. The far edge can provide a structural invalidation reference.
  4. Enable your preferred alert events and create one alert using “Any alert() function call”. Combined grouping keeps message volume lowest.

Published chart defaults

The published setup uses 10,000 candles of history, a 500-candle breaker formation window, 5% Partial Mitigation, BBs/HOBs as the MTF display mode, and Auto selection with 20 lower and 20 higher timeframes. Nearby-cluster merging is set to 15%. Optional filters and alerts start disabled.

07 / REALTIME BEHAVIOUR

Confirmed data,
clear limitations

External timeframe requests use lookahead_off and gaps_off, so future data does not enter closed bars and historical zones do not repaint. Higher-timeframe zones arrive only when their source candle closes. On a one-minute chart, a new four-hour zone can therefore appear up to four hours after its order block candle. That delay reflects higher-timeframe data delivery.

The live mitigation preview can change during a forming candle and settles at its close without rewriting confirmed history. Available history depends on the bars loaded and your TradingView plan. Higher timeframes need enough history to form zones, while large timeframe selections with live previews can hit runtime or memory limits. Reduce the timeframe count or history depth if needed.

Use standard candlesticks. Heikin Ashi, Renko, Kagi, Point and Figure, and Range charts supply synthetic prices that make the resulting zones unsuitable for this analysis. Different settings can materially change the display, confirmation-based structures can arrive only after the required candle or pivot confirms, and choppy or low-liquidity markets may produce more zones.

Original implementation, protected source

Order blocks, Fair Value Gaps and breaker blocks are public concepts. This is original code, not a modification of a published script. Its implementation combines displacement-led gap chains, a shared tolerance budget across formation and mitigation, two-sided trimming that preserves untouched zones, and a cluster model allowing unrestricted real overlap but only one nearby merge per lineage.

The detection chain and tolerance model are the core of the work, which is why the source remains protected. The documented inputs, detection rules, alert format and limitations let users evaluate the behaviour without source access.

CONTEXT, NOT A CRYSTAL BALL

Your analysis, your decisions

HiddenTrades Pro is an indicator, not a strategy. It contains no entries, exits, position sizing or backtest, does not predict direction and should not be used as a standalone trading system. It provides educational and analytical context, not financial advice or a guarantee of profitable trades.

Trading involves risk. Past price behaviour cannot ensure future results. Always conduct independent analysis, apply your own risk management and avoid relying on any single indicator. AutoFib overlap is a structural measurement, not a promise that price will respect a zone.

Tell HT Pro what to scan

Open Multi-Timeframe → TF selection mode. This is the setting that decides how the timeframe list is built.

Your checked timeframes are the scan list. Changing the chart timeframe does not replace that list. Include your chart timeframe in the checkboxes if you want it scanned too.

TRY THE SELECTION LOGIC

This is a guide example. Make your actual changes in HT Pro’s TradingView settings.

  1. Selected Only: choose your checkboxes under Timeframes — max 40 external TFs. The initial pool is 5m, 10m, 15m, 30m, 1h, 2h, 4h, 1D | 2D and 1W | 2W.
  2. Auto from Selected: choose the same checkboxes as a candidate pool, then set Auto search: lower TF count and Auto search: higher TF count. The nearby selection adapts when you change charts.
  3. Auto: use the lower/higher counts to search the full supported list. The manual checkboxes do not control this mode.
One shared limit: 40 external timeframes.

The chart timeframe uses no external slot. In Selected Only, it still needs to be selected directly or through an All group. Each bundle selects exactly the timeframes in its label, not every timeframe between them.

You know which mode you are using and which timeframes it includes.

What if I select too many timeframes?

In Selected Only, Over 40 TFs: keep HTF controls which selections remain. Off keeps the lowest selected timeframes; on keeps the highest. The limit is shared across all groups. Begin with a smaller pool if loading becomes slow. Auto modes use nearby lower/higher counts, up to 20 on each side.

READ THE STRUCTURE

A zone is a price area. A cluster adds context.

Begin with MTF display mode: BBs/HOBs. Read the timeframe text inside each zone before adding more filters or changing the appearance.

Several BB zones can be grouped into a cluster. This example shows its members and shared outline.

BB / HOB

A Breaker Block / Hidden Order Block is a detected price zone. Its timeframe label tells you where it was found.

Cluster

Overlapping or qualifying nearby zones are grouped together. Several timeframe labels show the members behind the area.

Order Block

A separate structure type. Choose Both in MTF display mode to show ICT Order Blocks alongside BBs/HOBs.

Use clusters to see confluence without switching charts. They add structure to your analysis; they are not automatic entries.

Find one zone, read its timeframe label, and identify whether it belongs to a cluster.

04

ADD CONFLUENCE

Let Auto-Fib map the overlap

  1. Turn on Enable Auto-Fib in the AutoFib group.
  2. Under AutoFib - Levels and scale, choose the retracements you want checked. GP (0.618-0.65) selects the Golden Pocket as one band.
  3. Decide whether to enable Draw Fibs. Calculations and available confluence text can be useful even when drawings are off.

CONFIRMED

A qualifying confirmed swing can supply Fib evidence for your Pro alert filters.

UNFINISHED SWING

A preview can change. It does not count as confirmed evidence for a Fib-required alert.

Auto-Fib uses swings from your chart’s candles and checks the selected BB timeframe targets. Changing the chart timeframe can therefore change the Fib context. A level must land inside the qualifying zone; a nearby line alone is not a match.

Your desired levels are enabled, and you have chosen whether to display the Fib drawings.

Do I need to change the advanced Fib settings?

Start with the existing defaults. Reversal strength, Minimum retracement (% of swing), Require strict BOS and Fib price scale change qualification, so adjust them once the basic display makes sense. Confirmed and unfinished matches can use the same drawing style; visible Fib lines alone do not establish confirmation.

LET THE CHART COME TO YOU

Create one alert for your selected timeframes

  1. Finish choosing your symbol, chart timeframe and HT Pro settings first.
  2. In HT Pro’s Alerts group, turn on Enable Pro alerts. Choose Alert direction and Alert types. Keep Alert grouping: Combined for a simpler first setup.
  3. If Auto-Fib is enabled, choose how its confirmed evidence should affect alerts. Try the explanations below.

Adds confirmed Fib information when it is available. A BB alert does not need a Fib match unless your other filters require it.

  1. Open TradingView’s Create alert dialog. Set the condition to HT Pro, then select Any alert() function call.
  2. Choose your delivery options, such as app notifications or email. Check the expiration, then create the alert.
  3. Confirm it appears as active in TradingView’s alert manager. HT Pro does not create this TradingView alert just by enabling its settings.

What about near-price, touch and Order Block alerts?

Near-price distance (%) is off at 0%; choose a distance if you want approach alerts. Turn on Alert on touch if you want touch events. Add OB confluence adds matching Order Block context to BB/cluster messages; it does not create standalone OB alerts. Events must meet your selected filters and occur after the alert is running.

Your TradingView alert is active and uses the same setup you intend to monitor.

OPTIONAL / CHROME EXTENSION

Turn a zone into a chart drawing

Use the HT Pro extension to turn a Breaker Block zone or cluster, Order Block or Auto-Fib into drawings directly on your TradingView chart. Extension access is included in Legend and GIGACHAD.

  1. Install HT Pro from the Chrome Web Store.
  2. Open the extension and connect your eligible HiddenTrades account.
  3. On your TradingView chart, use the extension’s controls to choose the zone or Fib you want to convert. Adjust the drawing and appearance to suit your layout.

YOUR FIRST SETUP

A quick check before you go

You don’t need every option switched on. Make sure these basics are clear first.

Your setup checklist

0 of 5 checks complete

No zones?

Check the timeframe mode and selected pool first. In Selected Only, confirm your chart timeframe is checked if you expect chart-timeframe zones. Start with fewer filters, allow enough chart history, and remember that not every price area contains a qualifying formation.

Too much on the chart?

Reduce the selected pool or the Auto lower/higher counts. Start with BBs/HOBs, keep Draw Fibs off until you need the lines, and explore Show levels near price to reduce visible clutter.

No alerts?

Check Enable Pro alerts, the TradingView alert’s active status and expiration, and the selected script condition. Require Fib needs confirmed qualifying evidence. Near/touch events need their own options enabled. Recreate the alert after changing its setup.
